Zenaut appears

The last leaves had left the scene. Darkness prevailed over daylight.
November at 58° North.

I felt a recognizable test target for the lens experiment is much missing and sure, afternoon hunger was lurking in the shadows.

Canteen was closed already, supermarket food it is then. 

Maybe in the kids section I could buy some Lego mini-figure surprise packs to make the day a bit brighter? 

I must admit I brought two as the hopes were high…

Maybe it could function more like a small external reminder of a mode of participation, until perhaps the reminder isn’t needed?

Meanwhile behind the scenes, it was evident that I should trim down the field of possibilities a bit…

Over time, though, it quietly became the protagonist of the journey - the one who keeps showing up, looking closer, and carrying traces of encounters back home.
