On Value

I used to think value came from finding something new.

Now I suspect it comes from returning to what is already here.

A familiar path.
A patch of grass.
A flower nearing its end.

Returning reveals differences.

Differences create a relationship.

Relationship creates value.

Not because anything was added.

Because something was noticed.
